Shipping Policy 

Order Processing

 All orders are prepared and shipped within a maximum of two working days after payment confirmation.
  • Cut-off time: For Express and Saturday services, orders must be confirmed before 9:00 AM.
  • Orders placed after 9:00 AM, during weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next working day.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We use DPD services to ensure optimal tracking and secure delivery.
1. DPD Pickup Point / Collection Point (STORE PICKUP)
  • Important: This is NOT a home delivery. You must collect your parcel from the selected pickup point.
  • Delivery time: 1–2 days (Benelux), 3–5 days (Rest of Europe).
  • Holding period: You have 7 calendar days to collect your parcel. After this period, it will be automatically returned to us.
2. DPD Home Delivery (PREDICT)
  • Standard delivery to your address with DPD Predict (1-hour delivery window notification).
  • Benelux: 1–2 working days.
  • France & Germany: 2–3 working days.
  • Rest of Europe: 3–5 working days.
3. DPD Express 18:00 (URGENT)
  • Available in: Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany.
  • Condition: Order must be placed before 9:00 AM.
  • Delivery: Guaranteed next working day before 6:00 PM.
  • Note: Someone must be present to sign for delivery (no delivery to neighbours or doorstep).
4. DPD Saturday Delivery
  • Available in: Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
  • Condition: Order placed Friday before 9:00 AM.
  • Delivery: Home delivery on Saturday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout depending on the country and delivery method.
  • Free delivery: Available depending on specific order value thresholds by country (displayed at checkout).
  • Additional charges: Extra fees apply for Express and Saturday delivery options.

Delivery Attempts & Responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing a valid shipping address.
In case of absence or incorrect address:
  • The carrier may deliver the parcel to a pickup point or attempt a second delivery.
  • Return to sender: If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address, recipient absence, or failure to collect within 7 days:
    1. Initial shipping costs will not be refunded.
    2. Return costs charged by DPD will be deducted from your refund.
    3. Reshipment can only be arranged after payment of new shipping costs.
No refund for perishable products:
Due to the perishable nature of our products (chocolates, pralines, confectionery), no refund will be issued if the parcel is returned for the following reasons:
  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
  • Failure to collect the parcel within 7 days.
  • Recipient absent during delivery attempts.
As the goods cannot be resold after prolonged return, the loss is borne by the customer. Reshipment may only be offered if products are still deemed consumable, and only at the customer’s expense (new shipping + DPD return fees).

Freshness & Collection Responsibility

To ensure optimal product quality (sensitivity to temperature and humidity), we strongly recommend:
  • Collect your parcel as soon as possible (ideally within 24–48 hours) after it becomes available.
  • Monitor DPD notifications (email/SMS) to avoid missing delivery or collection alerts.
Important: Our products are perishable. Prolonged storage in uncontrolled conditions may alter texture and taste. Péché Mignon declines all responsibility for product deterioration due to delayed collection. No refund will be granted for quality issues caused by late pickup.

Perishable and Sensitive Products

For sensitive products (chocolates, biscuits), we decline all responsibility for deterioration caused by prolonged storage or incorrect delivery address.

Damaged Parcel

Important: Due to the fragile and perishable nature of our products, any issue (damaged parcel, missing or altered items) must be reported within 48 hours after delivery or collection. After this period, no claims can be accepted.
