Shipping Policy

Order processing

All orders are prepared and dispatched within a maximum of two working days.

Orders placed after 9:00 a.m., at weekends or on a public holiday enter preparation on the next working day. That day counts as the first working day of the preparation period, and dispatch may take place up to the end of the second working day.

The transit times shown below begin only once the parcel has been collected by DPD.

Shipping during hot weather

During periods of hot weather, we carefully monitor temperatures before each shipment.

On particularly hot days, we may temporarily hold your parcel at our premises and dispatch it as soon as conditions become more favourable. This precaution is intended to preserve the quality of your chocolates and other sensitive products as effectively as possible.

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your parcel is ready to leave our premises.

Delivery destinations

The destinations currently served and the delivery methods available for each country are displayed at checkout.

If no delivery option is offered after the address has been entered, we are unable to ship the order to that destination.

Delivery methods and transit times

We entrust our shipments to DPD to provide accurate tracking and secure delivery.

The times below are estimated transit times after collection by DPD. They are in addition to the preparation period of up to two working days.

1. DPD Pickup Point — Delivery to a pickup point

Please note: this service is not home delivery. Your parcel must be collected from the pickup location selected when placing the order.

By selecting DPD Pickup Point / DPD Shop as the delivery method, the Customer confirms that delivery to a pickup point has been chosen and undertakes to collect the parcel within the stated holding period.

Once the parcel has been dispatched, Péché Mignon can no longer change delivery from a pickup point to home delivery or alter the selected delivery method. Any change option offered directly by DPD remains subject to DPD’s own terms and availability.

The Customer is responsible for monitoring notifications sent by DPD and collecting the parcel from the selected pickup point before the seven-day holding period expires.

  • Benelux: 1 to 2 working days after collection by DPD.
  • Rest of Europe: 3 to 5 working days after collection by DPD.
  • Holding period: 7 calendar days. After this period, the parcel is automatically returned to us.

2. DPD Home — Home delivery with Predict

Standard delivery to the address provided when placing the order. DPD Predict provides an estimated one-hour delivery window.

  • Benelux: 1 to 2 working days after collection by DPD.
  • France and Germany: 2 to 3 working days after collection by DPD.
  • Rest of Europe: 3 to 5 working days after collection by DPD.

3. DPD Express 18:00 — Urgent delivery

  • Available only in: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Germany.
  • Preparation: up to two working days.
  • Transit: after collection by DPD, delivery is expected on the next working day before 6:00 p.m.

The Express service speeds up transit after dispatch but does not reduce the order preparation time.

Someone must be present to sign for the parcel. This service does not provide for delivery to a neighbour or leaving the parcel on the doorstep.

4. DPD Saturday Delivery

  • Available only in: Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
  • Preparation: up to two working days.
  • Transit: after preparation and collection by DPD, delivery is expected on the next eligible Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The availability of this service and the proposed delivery date are displayed at checkout. An order placed on Friday cannot be guaranteed for the following Saturday.

Delivery charges

Delivery charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on the destination country and chosen delivery method.

  • Free delivery: available from country-specific order thresholds displayed at checkout.
  • Express and Saturday options: additional charges apply.

Exceptional delays

The transit times stated in this policy are estimates. They may be extended during periods of high demand, adverse weather, logistics disruptions, customs inspections or circumstances beyond our control.

If we are no longer able to meet the stated timeframe, we will inform you as soon as possible. This provision does not limit the consumer’s statutory rights in the event of delay or non-delivery.

Delayed or lost parcels

If your parcel tracking remains unchanged for several days, or the parcel is marked as delivered but has not been received, contact us at help@peche-mignon.com. We will open an investigation with DPD.

Where the carrier is offered by Péché Mignon, the risk of loss or damage remains with Péché Mignon until the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer, takes physical possession of the parcel.

Delivery attempts and address accuracy

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided with the order is accurate and complete.

If the recipient is absent or the address is incorrect, DPD may take the parcel to a pickup point or make another delivery attempt, subject to the available options.

If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the recipient’s absence or failure to collect it from a pickup point within seven days:

  1. the original delivery charges will not be refunded;
  2. the return charges invoiced by DPD will be deducted from any refund that may be due;
  3. the parcel can only be dispatched again after new delivery charges have been paid.

These provisions do not apply where the return or failed delivery results from an error attributable to Péché Mignon or the carrier.

Returned perishable products

Due to the perishable nature of our products, including chocolates, pralines, biscuits and confectionery, no refund for the products can be granted where the return results from:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the Customer;
  • failure to collect the parcel from a pickup point within seven days;
  • the recipient’s absence during delivery attempts.

After an extended return journey, the goods can no longer be offered for sale. Redelivery may only be considered if the products are still deemed fit for consumption.

The return charges invoiced by DPD and the new delivery charges will then be borne by the Customer.

These provisions are without prejudice to the consumer’s statutory rights in the event of a non-compliant product or an error attributable to Péché Mignon.

Freshness and parcel collection

To preserve the quality of our products, which are sensitive to temperature and humidity, we strongly recommend:

  • collecting your parcel as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 48 hours after it becomes available at a pickup point or after the first delivery attempt;
  • monitoring DPD notifications received by email or SMS.

Extended storage in uncontrolled conditions, particularly at a warm pickup point or in an outdoor locker, may affect the texture and taste of the products.

Péché Mignon cannot be held liable for deterioration caused by late collection, extended storage or an incorrect delivery address. No refund will be issued for deterioration caused by these circumstances, without prejudice to applicable statutory rights.

Damaged parcel or missing or altered product

Given the fragile and perishable nature of our products, any issue must be reported to us within a maximum of 48 hours after delivery or collection from a pickup point.

To help us process your claim, please retain all packaging and send us:

  • your order number;
  • a clear photograph of the parcel and shipping label;
  • photographs of the products concerned;
  • a precise description of the issue.

The 48-hour reporting period allows us to assess the condition of perishable products promptly. It does not limit applicable statutory rights in the event of non-compliance.
